Central Avenue in Northeast Minneapolis
The Center for Neighborhoods, the City of Minneapolis, and the Northeast Community Development Corporation (NE CDC) are hosting three meetings to involve the public in planning the future of the south side 18th Avenue NE at Central Avenue NE. We are bringing in an expert team to help Northeast figure out what is best for our community.
After successful pilots in other parts of Minneapolis, this exciting program will give Northeast residents and businesses the opportunity to custom design development scenarios for this intersection. The final product will be a guide for developers that specifies what the community wants and is financially feasible.
